The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education has revolutionised teaching and learning processes. However, the adoption of ICT among secondary school teachers remains uneven, often hindered by a psychological barrier known as technophobia. This study explores the prevalence, causes, and impact of technophobia in the use of ICT among secondary school teachers in Vijayanagaram district, Andhra Pradesh. By examining factors such as teachers’ attitudes, training opportunities, and institutional support, this research aims to provide insights into the challenges faced by educators and suggest strategies to enhance ICT adoption. The findings of this study can contribute to policy formulation and professional development programs that support teachers in overcoming their fears and effectively integrating technology into their classrooms.
