This Book defines a framework for energy-aware routing protocols which reduce the consumed energy by using the routing metrics based on routing table.This text aims to provide a sound and comprehensive knowledge on MANET route selections and route optimizations, This is intented to cover the basics of MANETS and their straties for efficient energy harvestings in research applications. This book consists of seven chapters. Each chapter briefs to a specific topic. The content of the chapter in this book is organized as:
Chapter 1: Gives an introduction about the various MANET wireless networks and emphasis on the core applications and usage its focus on the MANET organization and routing methods.
Chapter 2: This gives focus on the MANET organization and routing methods and gives the basic introduction to self organization, harvesting, awareness and route optimizations.
Chapter 3: Describes the frame work of harvesting implemented using proposed EPAR method and which make the nodes know about the efficient process of routing selection and energy awareness for efficient selection.
Chapter 4: Evaluates the performance of the network for energy and power based on the restricted access windowing mechanism which brings improvements for the network lifetime of and conserves the energy wasted off in idle mode of listening.
Chapter 5: This Describes a stable Rank based approaches which give rise efficient route selection based on a rank which assigns thresholds and compared with the neighbors and assigns a rank parameter for choosing the best stable route available among the different paths available.
Chapter 6: Describes the Enhancements and performances of these efficient methods when compared to the existing and traditional methods towards the energy awareness in routing.
