All praise and gratitude we extend to God Almighty for His grace and blessings, which have enabled the completion of this book entitled “Education for Children with Special Needs in the Digital Era: Concepts, Strategies, and Potential Development.”
This book was born out of a long journey that began with the preparation of an undergraduate thesis, later developed through field research, and ultimately compiled into a book in order to provide broader benefits. We hope that this book will not merely serve as an academic documentation but also as a bridge for many to better recognise, understand, and appreciate the potential of individuals with special needs.
The potential of individuals with special needs is often not fully developed due to limitations in understanding, approaches, and the support provided. Therefore, this book seeks to present insights on how to identify characteristics, understand needs, and nurture the potential of individuals with special needs through appropriate strategies. It is our expectation that society, educators, parents, and practitioners alike may find guidance in accompanying and empowering individuals with special needs toward independence and a meaningful life.
We are fully aware that this book still has shortcomings and limitations. Hence, we sincerely welcome constructive criticism and suggestions for the improvement of future editions. Finally, we express our deepest gratitude to all parties who have provided support, encouragement, and contributions throughout the process of writing and publishing this book. May this work bring significant benefits to the fields of education, guidance and counselling, as well as to society at large in supporting individuals with special needs to achieve their best potential.
